What is Permalink in WordPress and fix it
What is Permalink in WordPress:- Permalinks are the permanent URLs to my individual blog or website pages on your wordpress site. It is the web address and used to linking to your content.
The URLs of each post’s must be permanent. There are three types of Permalinks available:-
Where N is the post ID number. It works on all servers. By default, WordPress used this format which looks like this:
mod_rewrite: “Pretty Permalinks”
This one is pretty Permalinks. There are many different formats but most commonly used look like below:
Pathinfo: “Almost Pretty”
Pathinfo Permalinks look like very much mod_rewrite Permalinks but only exception (different) : they have / index.php inserted before them, look like below:
In other hands I say that they are the same as “pretty mod_rewrite permalinks, and is similarity flexible. Anything that mod_rewrite permalinks can do Pathinfo permalinks can do, with the help of that /index.php part
Also WordPress used default URLs which include day and name in them; however WordPress offers you to create a custom URLs structure for your permalinks and archives. This link is SEO friendly.
