Basant Panchami Festival essay in English:- Basant Panchami is also known as Sripanchami. This festival occurs on the fifth date after the arrival of spring season. We worship Basant Panchami to the Goddess Saraswati of Education & arts.

In the lifespan of the rainy season and the winter season, the unbearable people get the arrival of spring in life.

As the season approaches, the atmosphere gets rejuvenated.

New-new flowers come on the trees. There are various kinds of flowers in the garden. In the fields, the mustard flower starts flowing. In four directions, the earth begins to look green. Just as someone has put a green sheet on the earth. Wheat’s bucket starts blooming. And mango grows on the manjari on the trees. And butterflies seem to be roasting on it. Spring is the most adorable season.

According to Hindi calendars this season is the month of Magha. And all the people worship the Saraswati maa on the fifth day of the Shukla Paksha (fifth day).

This festival is also called the festival of season changer festival. Because spring and spring comes only after rainy and autumn.

Maa Saraswati is the goddess of knowledge, art, music and Educations. Saraswati’s pooja is celebrated in the schools, colleges and educational institutions and in public institutions with very festivities. Students are worshiping Devi Saraswati with great devotion and love. This day also holds yellow clothes.

Because with the season and festival, the yellow flowers of the mustard indicates the work of agriculture and also divide the yellow sweets.

In school-colleges, preparations for Basant Panchami begin very early. Five days before the school is neat and cleaned . And children are prepared for floats. Children also see excitement with great pleasures. Children doing their work very well with honestly during the Saraswati pooja.

Schools- colleges are well decorated by colourful Pandal one day in ago. And the campus of the school is decorated with colourful flowers and bulbs. From which the whole atmosphere shining with colourful lights.

On the day of Saraswati-Puja, a child takes baths and wears new clothes and reach the courtyard of the school and starts the program. Pandit is worshiped by Saraswati. Puja is completed by full and bilateral and chanting. And finally the arti is sung.

After worship, prasad ( fruits and sweets) are distributed . Then all the students take blessings from the maa-Saraswati.  Children are discharged from the school. Godess Saraswati  is called a mother giving knowledge, art, intellect and music.

On the day of Basant Panchami, we start with the first letter of small children.

A large statue of Godess Saraswati is established in schools and colleges. In big cities, every street will find the statue of Saraswati.

After Puja, somewhere in the music gathering and children dramas are also shown. Because she is godess of knowledge.

Where there is no worship of Saraswati, then people go to and gathered at the temple and perform Saraswati’s holy water.

Saraswati-Puja celebrated in the eastern and western part of India like Bihar, Bengal, Assam, Tripura, Haryana, Punjab, Delhi and many parts of the country and also in Nepal and Bangladesh.
