India is a country of festivals. The cultural and traditional festival here is famous worldwide. We see the whole world as one family. It is written in our scriptures that the whole world is a family.
Every month there is some festival and celebration in our country. The country of India is a secular country full of diversity in many religions, languages, cultures and castes, it is always crowded with people attending fairs and festivals. People of each religion have their own cultural and traditional festivals.
Some festivals are celebrated by people of all religions throughout the country. Each and every festival is celebrated in different ways according to the customs, beliefs and its important history. Each festival has its own history, legend and significance of celebration. People of Indian origin settled abroad also celebrate their cultural festival with great fervor.
India is a country with an example of unity in diversity because people of different religions like Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Jain, Christian etc. live in it with great love.
