About International Women’s Day
International women’s day is celebrated on 8th March all over the world. This is the prime rights of women’s. On this day many programs are organized in all parts of the country and abroad for the rights of women, their happiness and honour and their safety. Therefore her safety is the first priority.
International women’s day history
Socialist party of America first celebrated International women’s day in New York City on 28 February 1909. After that Germany and Russia took initiative. After that every country of the world has pledge to celebrate it. But since 1977 United Nation officially declared and accepts it. Therefore Russia declared this day a national holiday in 1917, since then all countries have a holiday on this day.
But the idea of celebrating IWD first came to the mind of Clara Jedkint of Germany in 1910. And she put forward the idea that women all over the world should plan to celebrate International Day to put forth their ideas. Which will also give him respect and guarantee his safety?
The main purpose of celebrating IWD is to get them the right to vote. Because in most countries women did not have the right to vote. Only then will he be given all the rights. Only then will he get all that he deserves, such as his right to respect and protection.
When the Tzar’s emperor in Russia came to an end, the women there were given the right to vote. According to the Julian calendar and the Gregorian calendar, Women’s Day was a different day. Therefore, all countries adopted the Gregorian calenderer. But in 1921, the date of Women’s Day was finally changed to 8 March. Thus since then Women’s Day is celebrated all over the world on 8 March only.
